Nivea Lip Balm review

Hello Everyone!

As I've been spending a lot of time at home and I've not really gone out much this week I haven't been wearing much makeup. I have however been quite reliant on lip balm!

Obviously I've always used lip balm but as it's summer here in Australia I've been using it a lot more. Mainly because lipstick just never lasts because I'm constantly sipping on water. What I'm struggling to say is I love lip balm and I want to rave about it!

You may have actually tried this lip balm, it is very popular.
 Nivea Repair and Protection!

This is very much a thick lip balm. As soon as you put it on you know it's there. If you do apply a generous amount you can actually build up a decent shine which is always nice.

I like this lip balm because I can be rather forgetful. By that I mean I won't remember to reapply lip balm until my lips are chapped and it's never fun. So, with this it will stay on for a decent amount of time which allows for my forgetful brain to register that I need to reapply!
The packaging is also very nice. Just pull, twist and apply! I know that all lip products are usually like this but the size of the lid makes it harder to lose. I have actually lost a lot of lids in my time.. This is a nice change!

I would also like to mention a second lip balm I would highly recommend!
Baby Lips!

I actually have all of the baby lips range but these 2 are by far my favourite for summer! Protecting Berry and Soothing Cherry. These are much glossier and are flavoured, which you can probably tell by the names. I just love these as well!

How to spend Valentine's Day alone!

Hello Everyone!

Happy Valentine's Day!
This year, again, I don't have a Valentine and I'm just in my room alone.. So why not share with you my top 5 things to do alone on Valentine's day! - In no particular order -

1. Watch films and/or tv shows and eat lots of sweets!
This is just a classic thing to do really. I would probably do this any day but Valentine's Day can be incorporated into this. Maybe watch some romantic comedies or just plain heart wrenching sad films? I don't know, make it your own!

2. Go out with friends!
If option 1 isn't really your cup of tea maybe get together with some other single friends and just go out and enjoy being single!

3. Write letters to the people who you love!
Who doesn't love getting a letter?
Valentine's Day is a day all about love, so what better way to spend it than telling people! Hey, I love you!

4. Make a new playlist and sing!
I don't know about you but no matter what if I sing I feel pretty happy! So make a new playlist of all your favourite songs and sing until your hearts content!

5. Blog!
Obviously this would be on my list! If you don't know what to blog about even just reading blogs is always fun! You could even write some ideas for Valentine's Day!

This is just a few ideas but there are so many more!
What did you do on Valentine's Day? I'd love to know! I really just hope you all had an amazing day, no matter what you did!
Today is about love, so love the day. Do whatever makes you happy and just enjoy life!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Benefit foamingly clean face wash; review

Hello Everyone!

Recently I've been trying to use up products that I already have before I start purchasing anything new. Most of the products I remember straight away why I stopped using them in the first place but then I come across something I can just fall in love with all over again!

For me one of the hardest things to find is face wash. My skin breaks out very easily so it's hard to find a cleanser that works for me. Luckily though, for my birthday last year my Mum got me the benefit foamingly clean face wash.

Benefit are mostly known for their cosmetic line so as soon as I found out they had a skin care range as well I couldn't wait! I was so excited when my Mum got it for me - thanks Mum, I still use it!

It has super cute packaging but I expected nothing less of benefit. They never disappoint with cute packaging! Also, the bottle itself has little "grips" on it which makes it easy to hold in the shower.

It comes out of the bottle looking a lot more like a lotion than a wash, which I found strange at first. But, to my surprise, after it's put with water it foams up amazingly!

From the first time I used it you could feel a noticeable difference in my skin. My skin was left soft, clean and smelling amazing after just one wash. Compared to other products I've tried this is really incredible! But best of all my skin improved, I didn't break out! Yay!

I can't speak highly enough of this product. I love it and I don't love many face washes!
Tell me in the comments below what face washes you love! I love hearing from you all!

Prices for my viewers!
UK: £17.50
AUSTRALIA: $29

USA: $21

Thank you so much for reading my blog, it makes me so happy when people tell me they actually like my blog and listen to my rambling on! Hopefully soon my ramblings will be transferred to YouTube!

Liebster Award!

Hello everyone!

Yesterday I had no idea what a Liebster Award was but then one of my favourite bloggers, Amber, told me that she had nominated me for one. I have been following her for a while so I was over the moon! Thank you so much Amber!

The Liebster Award is for bloggers with less than 300 followers and there are some rules to this..

The Liebster Award Rules
Once recieving the Liebster Award you must make a post accepting it. You must link back to whoever nominated you, then write 11 facts about yourself. Then you have to answer the 11 questions given by the person who nominated you and leave 11 new questions for the people you nominate. Then comment on their blog telling them they've been nominated, link them to your post and so it goes on!

Let's start!

11 Facts about me
1. I am moving from Australia to England next year
2. I have wanted to start a blog and YouTube channel since 2010 but was too shy
3. I don't really like when it's hot out
4. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats
5. I'm only 5'1 and a half
6. I love tea and hot chocolate
7. I have to wear glasses to drive and to read
8. I have never broken a bone
9. I can never choose favourites, I'm too indecisive
10. I want to travel, I just need to find people to come with me
11. I can't sleep alone without a sleep mask

Amber's Questions
1) Do you have any regrets?
As silly as it may sound, not starting my blog sooner

2) What is your career goal?
Become a fully qualified makeup artist / beautician and see where it takes me!

4) Whats your favourite animal?
I could honestly not decide!

5) Would you rather live by the sea or in the country or in a big city?
A big city! I couldn't do anything else!

6) What is the one item of make up you simply could not live without?
Mascara! I'm too blonde to go without!

7) What was your favourite subject at school?
Drama, English and Hospitality! I couldn't choose one, sorry!

8) What is the most you have spent on a beauty product?
$160 on perfume. To be honest I ask for the more expensive products on birthdays and Christmas.

9) What is your favourite colour?
My favourite colour changes all the time! But right now I love pink and orange.

10) What is the best thing that has happened to you in your life so far?
I graduated high school! - Boring, I know, but I'm not doing much until next year!

11) Do you prefer shopping for clothes or beauty products?
In store, beauty! We don't have many nice clothes stores in Australia, so online Clothes!

I nominate...

I know that's only 5 but it's quality, not quantity! And these are the 5 blogs I read and love the most so I think they deserve more followers!

My 11 questions!
1. Why did you start your blog?
2. Disney or Pixar?
3. Who would play you in the film of your life?
4. What was the last thing you purchased
5. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
6. Who is your celebrity crush?
7. Do you have a hidden talent / party trick?
8. Where do you want to be in 5 years time? Married, working, etc.
9. One thing that has changed your life?
10. If you could have any super power what would it be and why?
11. Who is your favourite singer / band?

The basic idea of this award is so smaller blogs can find new people to follow and more people can find them! What better way to meet new people? I think these five deserve all the attention they get and I just hope they haven't already been nominated, I'm sorry if you have but I didn't check!

Thank you to everyone who reads my blog, it really means the world to me! I just hope I get the chance to talk to all of you more!

My Mascaras of the Moment

In my opinion mascara is very important! I guess this may apply to me more so than a lot of other girls as I am blonde and I have blonde eyelashes.. This means I tend to use a lot of different mascaras! I usually have a few favourites but these always change so I am now presenting you with my Mascaras of the Moment!

I have 2 mascaras I have been using for a few months, this is a big deal for me because I usually would have swapped and purchased new ones by now. Although they may be considered "old" in the beauty world I still adore them and use them almost everyday!

I should probably mention I layer my mascara. I like that full look you can only get by putting a ridiculous amount on! As or right now I am using Rimmel's Sexy Curves and Maybellines Falsies!

First things first! Here is my eye with no mascara! - I do however have eyeliner and shadow!

Rimmel Sexy Curves

This is the mascara I put on first. It makes my eyelashes super long but not as full as I would like.

The wand at first is a little intimidating.. Maybe weird would be a better word actually. As in the name, it has curves. I have never seen a mascara want like this before but it grew on me.

I find that because the wand is made of rubber compared to the usual "brush" material is extends the lashes rather than giving them much body.

Maybellines Falsies

Okay, I'm sorry for lacking originality. You've probably heard it all before.. This is the mascara I put on after the Sexy Curves!

What I love about this mascara is the wand. It is slightly curved so it's easy to just brush it over your lashes and done!

This mascara makes my lashes look just amazing! Although it can be easy at times to overdo the "falsies affect."  It's just an easy product to apply and a all around great mascara!

AND FINALLY! This is what my eyes look like with both mascaras on!

As always, prices for my top 3 countries of readers!

UK:
Rimmel - £8.19
Maybelline - £7.99
AUSTRALIA:

Rimmel - $17.95
Maybelline - $19.95
USA:
Rimmel - $6.47
Maybelline - $5.94

Now I've shared my Mascaras of the Moment with you maybe you could tell me yours? Let me know in the comments below what mascaras you like and I'll give them a try! (If I haven't already)
I love talking to you all and it just makes my day! :)
