Birthday Haul

Hello Everyone!

It feels like forever since I've made a blog post, maybe that's because I haven't posted since the beginning of the month. Although, I got a new laptop so it looks like I'll be posting more than you can imagine from now on!

My birthday was on May 17th so I've been a busy little bee trying to organise all of my accounts and doing all that boring stuff (no one told me how annoying it is turning 18). I thought I would share with you some of the things I got for my birthday - not all beauty related but I'm sharing them anyway because I'm excited!

1. 15" MacBook Pro

2. Real Techniques makeup brush kit - core collection

3. Rimmel wake me up foundation - 100 ivory

4. Bobbi Brown makeup manual

5. Ricardo Elite luggage - 28" Sausalito superlite

6. Benefit Bronzer - Hula

I kept this rather brief as I am doing reviews on most of the products so I'll go into much more depth.
I did get a few little things also but I think thought I'd keep it short and sweet and only add the larger items and beauty products.
I could probably bombard you with millions of selfies taken on photobooth but I will save that for another day. Let me know in the comments below if you have any of these items, I love talking to you all!

Benefit foamingly clean face wash; review

Hello Everyone!

Recently I've been trying to use up products that I already have before I start purchasing anything new. Most of the products I remember straight away why I stopped using them in the first place but then I come across something I can just fall in love with all over again!

For me one of the hardest things to find is face wash. My skin breaks out very easily so it's hard to find a cleanser that works for me. Luckily though, for my birthday last year my Mum got me the benefit foamingly clean face wash.

Benefit are mostly known for their cosmetic line so as soon as I found out they had a skin care range as well I couldn't wait! I was so excited when my Mum got it for me - thanks Mum, I still use it!

It has super cute packaging but I expected nothing less of benefit. They never disappoint with cute packaging! Also, the bottle itself has little "grips" on it which makes it easy to hold in the shower.

It comes out of the bottle looking a lot more like a lotion than a wash, which I found strange at first. But, to my surprise, after it's put with water it foams up amazingly!

From the first time I used it you could feel a noticeable difference in my skin. My skin was left soft, clean and smelling amazing after just one wash. Compared to other products I've tried this is really incredible! But best of all my skin improved, I didn't break out! Yay!

I can't speak highly enough of this product. I love it and I don't love many face washes!
Tell me in the comments below what face washes you love! I love hearing from you all!

Prices for my viewers!
UK: £17.50
AUSTRALIA: $29

USA: $21

Thank you so much for reading my blog, it makes me so happy when people tell me they actually like my blog and listen to my rambling on! Hopefully soon my ramblings will be transferred to YouTube!

12 products, 12 months

I had this idea earlier, I'm not sure how it will work out but I'm going to try it anyway! I want to make a list of 12 products I've always wanted to try but never actually got around to it, then over the next 12 months I will buy 1 product a month. The idea is that I will do a review at the end of the month of that product and also cross it off my list!

I should probably warn you now that some of these products may be a little pricey.. Sorry.

In no particular order... Here goes nothing!

ONE
Revlon Lip Butter

I have wanted to try this as soon as I saw it in store! Then along came the reviews on both YouTube and Blogspot and I was sold. I need to try this. I just haven't yet.

TWO
E.L.F brow kit

I haven't heard much about this product but E.L.F has recently started up an Australian website so now it is inexpensive and readily available! I also feel like it would be a good review to do as not many people have done one.. In fact I've not seen one.

THREE
NARS laguna bronzer

This one is quite obvious. Everyone and their grandmother raves about this product! So, obviously, I'll be super original and be jumping on that bandwagon!

FOUR
Benefit Mascara, they're real

I've heard both good and bad things about Benefit's mascara so naturally I want to try it for myself.

FIVE
Maybelline Colour Tattoo

From what I've heard this product is basically a more affordable MAC paintpot. As I am a fan of the Paintpot I have been wanting to try this!

SIX
Bobbi Brown gel liner

I use gel liner a lot so I like to try new ones but I am yet to try this one. I have heard such good reviews but I could never justify the price. It's things like this I think you need to just pay for and not turn back!

SEVEN
MAC powder blush

I don't have a specific colour I feel like I need to have. I think I will just go to MAC and ask their opinion.  I genuinely just want to try their blush.

EIGHT
Crest 3d whitening strips

I was considering getting my teeth professionally whitened but I decided to try and do it myself. A real gamble I know but oh well. Whitening strips!

NINE
Body Shop makeup brushes

I recently tried one of my friends kabuki brush from the Body Shop and fell in love! That's all really, I just want to try more of their brushes.

TEN
A vision board

I know this isn't exactly beauty related but I thought I should add this in to encourage myself. I have had a blank canvas on my wall for about 2 weeks now ready to be made into a vision board but I got lazy. Whoops.

ELEVEN
Rimmel stay glossy

As I wear lipgloss almost everyday I always seem to find myself adding to my collection. I have wanted to try this for a while but for some reason I just haven't.

TWELVE
Burt's Bees cuticle creme

I am obsessed with my nails now I'm out of school. Because I went to a private school we weren't allowed any nailpolish at all so now I've graduated I paint my nails much more! This also means I use more polish remover. Not good.

So, I hope you like this idea and maybe even decide to do your own! If you do let me know so I can see what products you chose! Also, if you have tried any of these products let me know what you thought, are they worth me trying at all?

Again, thank you for reading my silly little blog!
