Products I've used up!

Hello Everyone!

As you can probably tell from the title these are the products I've recently used up! Obviously not all the products I've ever finished ever but I would like to tell you that it takes me quite a while to finish anything. I am a repeat offender of repurchasing before I'm properly done with a products, whoops!

Basically these are the product's I've recently finished and I would like to share with you my triumph!

FACE PRODUCTS:

1. MAC mineralize skin finish natural, x 2
This is a product I will always love. I have always got at least one of these in my makeup collection and I will probably use these until the day I die.

2. Rimmel
I won't lie this came in a gift set and I don't really use it on myself all too often.. I won't be repurchasing this. I think the only reason this was even finished is because I can use it on people who have dry skin as it is very light.

3. MAC prep and prime, x 2
I love primers! This primer works wonders on almost any skin type. I do already have another one of these but I am looking for a new primer, I am a little bored with this one..

4. MAC Studio fix fluid
Again, I love this foundation to death but at the moment it seems to be a little too drying.. I have repurchased this already but I think I'll be investing in a different foundation very, very soon. - I love trying new foundations

5. Maybelline Mineral power Finishing Veil
Again, this was a gift and I don't think I'll be buying this again. I only really used this powder when I wasn't going anywhere too important and I didn't want to waste my makeup.

6. Maybelline mineral power Natural perfecting concealer
This concealer is very good if you're on the go. I probably won't be repurchasing but it was not the worst concealer I've used.

EYE PRODUCTS:

1. Rimmel London sexy curves
This was featured in my Mascaras of the moment post so I obviously love it. You can go and look at that post if you want a full review - Here!

2. Maybelline New York falsies
This was the second mascara in my mascaras of the moment, I love love love this mascara!

3. Maybelline lash Stiletto
This is a good mascara if you are looking for length, it makes you look like you have crazy long lashes!

4. Maybelline Line Define liquid eyeliner
I can't say I loved this product but I can say it's not good for a thin line.

LIP PRODUCTS:

1. BYS lip liner
This I picked up when I was out and I hadn't put any lipstick on but I was asked to dinner. I needed some colour and this was only $3..

2. Nivea Repair and Protect
I also have a post on this lip balm which you can check out here!

3. Dermal therapy lip balm
This lip balm is great when you have super chapped lips. Funnily enough my doctor actually suggested I get some when I was sick and it was amazing!

MISCELLANEOUS PRODUCTS:

1. Lee Stafford Dry Shampoo
I don't like the smell of this dry shampoo but I was all out of my favourite one so I used this up.. I won't be getting this again, no matter how good the sale is.

2. Cutex nail polish remover
Not much to say about this, it removed my nail polish as it was supposed too so... It was good?

3. Dove Summer Glow
I am a very very pale person. I blame my parents. This gradual tanner is amazing though! I couldn't go a summer without it. I don't like the fake tan look most girls my age go for but this looks more natural.

4. Nivea Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes
I got this when I was out and in need of some makeup wipes. They went fast because I needed to use 2-3 just to get all my makeup off.. Not too good.

Overall I'm super glad I got rid of some of the products I wasn't too fond of and I made room for products I do genuinely adore! I will have to try and stop myself from purchasing not so great products just because they are on sale... I will be going for quality of the product and not how much I have to spend. - Lesson learned.

Let me know below if you're like me and usually buy something else before actually finishing products or if you always finish things. I'm really beginning to think it's just me...

What are some products you've used up? Would you repurchase them? Comment below telling me so I have some more products to try out!
Thank you all so much for reading my blog!

Month 2; Revlon Lip Butter

Hello Everyone!

It's March and I haven't even made my month 2 post for my 12 products, 12 months post! Considering it was meant to be up at the end of February I think it's about time I spoke about my second product! Sorry it took so long but here we go!
At the end of January I purchased 2 of Revlon's Lip Butter and I'm so excited to tell you about them!

I opted for a nude and a bright colour and I ended up deciding on Creme Brulee and Tutti Frutti.

CREME BRULEE
Creme Brulee is a very nude colour. It has no pinky or orangey undertones so, with lip liner, anyone can wear it!

TUTTI FRUTTI
If you like orange, like I do, this colour is amazing! You can build it up to be a true bright orange or put it on lightly and it just brightens up the face!

What I loved most about these lip sticks (I'll call them lip sticks although I'm not too sure they are) is the consistency! It's almost like putting on lip balm. It's hydrating but it is so highly pigmented you'd swear it's too good to be true!

If, like a lot of people I know, you don't like much shine to your lips then this may not be the product for you. If you only put on a light layer it won't give off too much of a shine but it's definitely got potential to be super glossy!

The packaging is also super cute. Usually lip products have a boring tube but revlon have gone to the effort of putting a diamond design on the lids. Although this has nothing to do with the product itself I thought I'd add it in here just because I get excited by little things like this.

I find with a lot of lip products they often taste awful, but with the Lip Butters I was pleasantly surprised! It's not so good that I find myself licking my lips but it's good to the point of being able to accidentally lick your lips and not wanting to spit on the ground. I guess that's a positive thing!

If you're thinking of buying a Lip Butter I say just go for it! I can't really say a bad word about it, maybe I'd like for it to last a little longer but it's easy enough to just throw it in your bag and reapply on the go! I think this is a great value for money product. Well done Revlon!

Prices for my most popular audience
UK: £7.99
AUSTRALIA:
$21.95
USA: $6.50

What is your opinion on Revlon's Lip Butter? Is it worth the hype or do you have a different product you just adore? I love all your opinions and feedback! So, thank you so much for reading my blog!

Sorry about how awful I look in the photos, I have had a bad case of the flu and I'm still not 100%.. Thought I'd just explain my poor appearance. X

Why I was a weird kid

Hello Everyone!

I should probably let you all know that I kind of stole this post idea from another blogger, Faye Bea, who you should definitely check out because her blog is amazing! Basically this is about reasons I was a weird kid, stories and just things I used to do. This may be a long one...

1. I could never differentiate face from fiction. I believed whole heartedly anything I saw and anything anyone told me all the time. I remember after watching Mary Poppins one day I convinced my friend to help me onto the roof of our house so I could jump off it as I believed all umbrellas gave you the ability to fly. Luckily my friend said it was too dangerous so I settled for our 6ft fence.. Turns out I couldn't fly.

2. I started every sentence with "actually" it was as if I was constantly trying to prove a point. For example, my Mum would ask me if I wanted juice and I would say, "actually, I want apple juice." Actually little Georgia, you make no sense.

3. I would sing all the time. I would sing when I was happy, sad, angry or anything, it was constant. When we moved house we had a huge yard and we threw a party. I obviously volunteered to sing for everyone and it went quite well. Although, my singing career soon ended when my Mum got sick of it and told me I was a terrible singer. Thanks Mum. (I still sing all the time though)

4. I could convince my friends to do or believe just about anything I wanted them to. My best friend actually lived next door to me when I was younger and one week we had family friends staying over.
My best friend and I were close with their daughter and decided to convince her I was a witch. This basically meant if she didn't do exactly what I told her to I would cast a spell on her. We had her climbing trees, jumping off swingsets and eating awful things. Although this was put to a stop when she started crying and our parents found. Sorry Paige.

PAIGE - left
ME - right

5. I always wanted a baby sister and finally when I was 5 my parents had another baby girl. Now, I loved my sister until I realised I now had to share my Mum with her. I used to have a baby doll but in my little 6 year old brain it seemed more appropriate to use my sister. So, I would put her in my dolls stroller and I would lock her in. One of my favourite games was playing Mums and Dads at pre school so having my very own baby was just like at home practice to me.

Those are my sisters feet sticking out the end there...
6. I was terrified of Kangaroos. This may seem silly but still to this day I don't like kangaroos that much.. The first time I remember being proper afraid is when my family and I went to the zoo. I must have been no older than 7, and as soon as we stepped into the kangaroo enclosure I would do just about anything to get as far away from them as possible. I do recall actually climbing up my sisters stroller and onto my Mum. I then cried until we left.
Actually I was afraid of a lot of silly things but who's got the time?

So, now you know how much of a weirdo I was I'll give you some time before I make a post like this again. I've been sick for the past week and a half so I've been avoiding any posts that involves having to take a picture of myself. In the next few days I'll have my February edition of 12 products 12 months posts!
Sorry I've been so absent! It's back to normal as of now, thanks for sticking around!

Oh, so I guess as this is a tag I tag you! If you're reading this you're tagged! Or you can just tell me one reason you were a weird kid in the comments below, maybe make me feel a little less weird...

GeorgiaX

Sorry I couldn't find a picture to match each of the stories, I tried to find some of when I was around the same age-ish... If you liked this post, I'll make a part 2 at some point :)
